In Loving Memory of/My dearly beloved husband/Albert George Harwood/A Native of Salisbury Wiltshire England/Aged40 years & 11 months/And also/Thomas Geoghegan/A native of Belfast Ireland./Aged 25 years/Who lost their lives along with twelve more of their fellow shipmates/In the wreck of the Barque Roma near Point Padrone on the night of 19th August 1892/when homeward bound from Bombay to England after an absence of 1 year & 7 months./Their lifeless bodies were washed ashore and received Christian burial by strange but kindly hands knowing well that loved ones/ were waiting/and watching for them/Yearning to hold them again to their hearts -/ but they lay with their bright eyes dimmed/from home and friends/so far apart/Erected by Patrick Geoghegan/Belfast Ireland/and/Sarah Harwood/Glasgow Scotland.
