Eastern Cape, EAST LONDON district, Ncera, Methodist Church Cemetery

Cemetery information:-

From about 1860, white farmers were granted land in the area around Kidd’s beach.

Many were of 1820 stock. There was sufficient number to form a congregation and to raise funds and to undertake the building of small chapel, which was completed in 1862.
Today the Church building still stands but is derelict and the cemetery overgrown.
