Cape Town
DEATHS: FH Filmer, FM Filmer & IT Filmer
I have the honour to inform you that an Inquest was held on the above deaths, by the Magistrate, Queenstown on the 10th December 1926 and cause of death was:
Gunshot wounds inflicted by the male deceased FREDERICK HERBERT FILMER while probably temporarily unsound of mind.
The adult male and female were discovered on the morning of 26 November in bed, dead from the result of gunshot wounds in their heads – the child was alive, but unconscious and died the next day.
The male adult had been suffering from Pyronhea and was in a very depressed state of mind, which was probably the cause of his action.
